BROKEN IN AND PRE-TRAINED AT VICTORY PARK...
After her recent win at Bairnsdale over 1200mtrs, Avionics went on to run a nice race in the 1400m Thousand Guineas Fillies Prelude at Caulfield finishing the better side of mid field. Four days later, on the 24th September, she stepped out in the 3yo fillies mile race at Moonee Valley and won in impressive style. Not long after jumping from the gates, Avionics found her way to the front of the field and retained her lead to win by half a length. Avionics, ridden by Peter Mertens & trained by Robbie Griffiths appears to have appreciated the extra distance and rewarded Robbie with another well deserved win.

BANANA MAN RETURNS!
Banana Man, once again ridden by Michelle Payne, notched up his fourth win from ten career starts, effortlessly taking out the Matoral Charity Plate over 2040 mtrs at Mooney Valley last Wednesday.
His trainer Mick Kent commented after the win, "He's still in the Cups (paid up), but they might come up a bit early for him. He's still a big baby."
"We've had the spring in mind all along with him but we might look at races like the Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Saab Quality. He's a clean-winded horse and as a stayer we hope he might get somewhere. He's a horse of the future." Banana Man is a 5yo gelding by Desert King out of Chinju and is proudly owned by Samantha Pelly.

THE HOFF IS BACK!!
Bon Hoffa made a welcome return to the winners circle on Saturday, taking out the
$200,000 Group III Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) at Flemington. Trainer, Wendy Kelly was overcome with emotion after the win.
“I just wanted to see him do it for him. He is a sensational horse, a beautiful horse to be around and for his stud prospects and everything, I just wanted to see him back for him.” Part-owner Ken King echoed Kelly’s sentiments. “We had a disappointing autumn but he has just been a great horse in the spring. The very handsome 3 year old gelding, Bromwich by Delargo Brom out of Court Dancer, made his debut at Sale recently
in a 1200 metre maiden and claimed his first victory for trainer Robbie Griffiths. He is a lovely looking horse with a great
disposition and it should be exciting to see what he can go on to achieve. Bred by Dennis Malcolm at Nangawooka Park,
Bromwich is one of many classy youngsters of Dennis's to find their way into Robbie's stable. Most have now completed
